CHESHIRE Constabulary has joined forces with the Hospice of the Good Shepherd to raise awareness of their forthcoming Bad Tie and Tights Campaign which will take place on Friday, October 23.

Officers and staff donned some wardrobe horrors and gave a donation to support a worthwhile local cause.

There was everything from cartoon ties to stripy tights. Cash raised so far has hit the £284 mark.

Amanda Le Bretton, Fundraising and Marketing Manager said: “We are delighted that Cheshire Constabulary has agreed to launch this campaign on our behalf.

“I hope local businesses will join in by allowing their staff to wear a wacky tie or pair of tights for the day and give a donation to the Hospice of the Good Shepherd.

She added: “This is a fun and unique way to make a difference to the lives of patients in our care.”
