CHILDREN’S charity KIND which supports disadvantaged youngsters and families in Ellesmere Port and across Merseyside has launched its 33rd annual Christmas appeal.

They are aiming to raise a total of £45,000 and are appealing for people to donate funds or unwanted presents.

Chief executive and founder Stephen Yip said: “Every penny we raise for the appeal goes towards helping local disadvantaged children and their families have a Christmas to remember.

“With the current financial uncertainty this Christmas will be one of the most difficult many families have faced in the 33 years we’ve been running the appeal, which is why every donation or means of support we receive is vital.”
