GREEN-FINGERED gardening enthusiasts have an extra reason to visit the award winning gardens at Arley Hall on Sunday.

The event is the latest in a series of charity days being held all over Cheshire to help a range of charities supported by the National Gardens Scheme.

Arley’s eight acres of stunning gardens are widely regarded as among some of the best in Europe, and have been labelled a Garden of Distinction in Cheshire’s Year of Gardens 08 celebration.

Attractions include the famous double herbaceous border, a kitchen garden, arbour walk and walled garden.

Admission to the gardens is £5.50 for adults and £2 for children, whilst entrance to the hall is £2.50 for adults and £1 for children. Group and family discounts are available and children under five will receive free entry.
