EVENTS offering the chance to quiz developers who plan to put 21 giant wind turbines on Frodsham and Helsby Marshes take place this week.

Homeowners in Frodsham, Helsby and Elton will have the chance to question Peel Energy, as well as environmental and planning specialists, and see layout plans, photographs and details of the extensive studies being carried out.

Peel Energy’s senior development manager, Richard Dibley, said: “There are lots of myths about wind farms. We hope as many people as possible will join us at the exhibitions to find out the facts for themselves.

“We are keen to engage with local people from an early stage and are looking forward to sharing the detail of our proposals at the exhibitions.

“Nobody knows the area better than those who live and work there and we want to hear from them how the wind farm can be accommodated beside their communities.”

The events are today (Wednesday) from 12-8pm, at Main Street Church, Frodsham; on Friday, November 27, from 10am-6pm, at Elton Community Centre; and on Saturday, November 28, from 10am-3pm, at Helsby Community Centre.
