WINSFORD United have a rearranged home game against Abbey Hey on Saturday – and could be top by the final whistle.

If they win they will leapfrog the only teams above them, Newcastle and Glossop, who are not involved in league action.

United hope to have midfielder Mick Graa back after a leg injury and defender Tony Sayer, out since the autumn with cruciate ligaments damage, is available again and made an appearance from the subs’ bench against Squires Gate.

Former Everton starlet, 17-year-old Jacob Baptista, made an exciting debut as a sub in the same game and may be given his chance to stake a permanent berth on the right wing.
