THE Mail's ScotishPower Your Champions, Person of the Year, Roy Duggan has worked hard to donate another fantastic sum to Nightingale House.
Roy, who has been fundraising for local charities since 1948, has again pulled out all the stops to raise £6,300 for two local charities by holding charity events throughout the year at Air Products Sports and Social Club.
Both Nightingale House Hospice and the Palliative Care Team at North East Wales NHS Trust have benefited from Roy's tremendous fundraising activities.
Jo Young, corporate and trust fundraiser at Nightingale House said: 'I was delighted to receive the sum of £3,150 on behalf of the Hospice. Roy has overcome tremendous adversity to raise this sum of money, and has been a committed supporter of the hospice for a number of years. Thank you to Roy and his army of supporters!'
