THE next Banned in Northwich gig takes place on Friday, November 14 at Winnington Rec.
Cats and Criminals combined their diverse musical backgrounds at Kingston University in 2005.
They cite influences from jazz and R’n’B to reggae and pop, creating a sound like that produced by artists like Jamiroquai, Lily Allen and Mark Ronson.
Since first playing together three years ago, they’ve built up a loyal fan base and continue to develop their live show and build a name for themselves around London.
Also on the bill – and originating from all over the country – The Soul Collective is a fresh and funky band now with roots in Salford.
Doors open at 8pm, and entry is £4.50.
