CASTELL Alun High School students in Hope are planning their own radio station.
The school made a successful bid for £5,000 from the Awards for All scheme.
Media studies teacher Gareth Lloyd said: “This is a wonderful opportunity for students of all ages and abilities to experience the making of a radio station and the chance to gain vocational qualifications which are recognised throughout the media industry.”
From September pupils plan to conduct interviews, play music, including performances by school members, and air bulletins during the school day.
