TUNEFUL pupils of Ysgol Estyn in Hope have hit the right note for Children in Need.
The youngsters recorded a version of Hark! The Herald Angels Sing for the NEWI/BBC Children in Need Christmas Carol Project.
The CD will be officially launched at a concert in NEWI William Aston Hall, Wrexham, on Tuesday, December 7.
Headteacher Ifan Davies said: 'I am very proud of all the pupils who took part.
'We were very honoured to have been asked to take part in the project. It's an extremely worthwhile cause.'
He added: 'As a school, we always do something for Children in Need. Last week we held a non-uniform day, where the staff came dressed as school pupils and the children came in fancy dress. We raised £210 for the charity, which was fantastic.'
The school has two upcoming Christmas concerts. The infants will hold theirs on December 7, while the juniors event takes place on December 9.
