THREE people were taken to hospital following a collision outside the Asda supermarket in Ellesmere Port on Friday.
The incident in Market Square was reported to emergency services at 12.16pm and involved a female driver whose green Rover 25 was in collision with two male pedestrians.
One of the men, a 73-year-old, sustained a head injury, while a 33-year-old man is believed to have fractured the tibia and fibula in his leg as a result of the collision.
The driver was checked over by paramedics at the scene.
All three were taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital for further treatment.
Police are keen to establish the circumstances of the incident.
