TICKETS are now on sale to see multi-platinum singer-songwriter James Blunt when he heads to the region later this year.

The Brit and Ivor Novello award-winning former army captain is set to appear at the Manchester MEN on October 4 as part of a nine-date tour.

Blunt has only just finished touring the UK and is currently performing in the US as part of a worldwide series of gigs that will see him play across Europe, South East Asia, Australia and South Africa.

He is also set to release his latest single Carry You Home on March 24.

The track was written by James and Max Martin and features a video by Grammy Award-winning director Jake Nava, whose critically acclaimed credits include the Rolling Stones and Dido.
