MARIE Curie Cancer Care is celebrating a win at the RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park.
The charity’s show garden won an RHS Silver Flora Award last week.
It was created by award-winning garden designers Toby and Stephanie Hickish, of Summers Gardens Ltd, Wrexham.
The project has been particularly poignant for them, as two of their friends were both cared for by Marie Curie Nurses in their own homes.
At The End of My Garden was sponsored by Wesleyan Assurance Society, the financial services specialist for doctors, dentists, lawyers and teachers.
The garden was inspired by Marie Curie Nurses who care for people with terminal illnesses in their own homes.
It featured a traditional lawn, connected by a stream to a contrasting woodland area and a lawn flanked by perennial and herbaceous borders.
