STRIKER Rob Duffy signed in at Wrexham on a month's loan yesterday, ready to aid their fight against relegation.
The 25-year-old from Oxford United will go straight into manager Brian Little’s squad for tomorrow's re-arranged home clash with Bradford City.
Duffy, the older brother of Wales and Portsmouth defender Richard, scored six goals in 21 games for the Blue Square Premier side this season, but has been out of favour at the Kassam Stadium since the turn of the year.
After meeting his new Wrexham team-mates yesterday, he said: “There is nothing to say that the club will be bottom for too long.
“In this division any side that strings together three or four wins can make huge strides up the table and that’s what we have to aim to do.”
Duffy is Little's 10th new signing since taking charge and if he does well initially his stay will be extended until the end of the season.
