ONE of the traditional events at Erddig, the National Trust property near Wrexham, is its Book Fair.

The event is on Saturday and Sunday, November 8 and 9, and this year volunteers need the help of the public to make it a success.

It is run by volunteers and relies totally on donations from the public.

The Book Fair at Erddig has become its biggest fundraising event and has always been well subscribed.

This year donations still need to come in.

Erddig is calling on everyone to see if they want to empty shelves of books they no longer wish to keep and bring them along to Erddig were they will be gratefully received.

Many people have found first editions and favourite books that have since gone out of print.

The Book Fair is on November 8 and 9 from 11am to 4pm and admission is free.

The house at Erddig is now closed for the winter, but the gardens, restaurant and shop remain open.
