A GROUP of Wrexham businessmen and women believe a good breakfast is the answer to running a successful company.

Business Networking International (BNI) which meets at the Cross Lanes Hotel, Marchwiel is organising a Business Week breakfast to showcase the benefits of networking.

The event on Thursday, October 23, will bring together entrepreneurs and VIPs from the region over a good breakfast.

The director of the group, Peter Leslie, who runs Wrexham web company, Oraica Limited, said: “The early morning meeting gives the 25 businesses around the table a competitive advantage over rivals.

“As members, we can refer business to known and trusted colleagues in the knowledge a good service will be given and this will reflect well on us as providers of sound advice.

“We will be demonstrating the benefits of this form of networking during Wrexham Business Week and look forward to meeting people looking for ways to develop their businesses.”

BNI Wrexham is part of the worldwide BNI group. Last year the 564 chapters in the UK and Ireland generated £185m worth of business for members.

Peter added: “BNI is a tried and tested means of growing your business. Not only does it bring financial rewards but also improves your personal and leadership skills.

“By meeting weekly, members get to know one another’s businesses and develop the confidence to refer friends, family and business contacts to their fellow members when needs arise.”

The networking breakfast for Wrexham Business Week is open to all and includes a short talk on the advantages of word of mouth marketing.

The event is free but tickets are needed and are available from Merit Travel, King Street, Wrexham, 01978 291482 or e-mail info@merittravel.co.uk
