A SALE of land and property owned by the nearly defunct North West Development Agency will include Hooton Business Park.

The North Road business park is among dozens of properties owned by regional development agencies that have been released by the Government as Business Secretary Vince Cable and Local Government Secretary Eric Pickles decides what sites to sell to help reduce the national deficit.

The sites were bought by regional development agencies to boost the economy, for example regeneration of old industrial sites and redevelopment – and there are plenty of warnings against a fire sale.

This is the RDAs freehold land and property assets as at September 30.
