Malpas Alport Primary School recently took part in a fundraiser for NSPCC.

The children did ‘Buddy’s Big Work out’ which involved doing press ups, speed bounce, star jumps and other high impact physical activities.

The activities varied in each year group and all children took part from reception to Year 6.

The children got sponsors for the event and raised more than £2,400.

Melissa Gilbert a teacher at the  school said: “We are very proud of the pupils for raising such a staggering amount.”
