WREXHAM Museum has made its Guide promise as it launches its new evening workshops for Brownie groups.
Whether its discovering life in the stone age, creating craft work inspired by the museum’s exhibitions, developing drama skills based on Welsh legends or completing their own family tree – Brownies are sure to have a fun-filled experience.
Lynn Podmore, learning and access officer who has developed the service, said: “We have been delighted to receive positive feedback from this initiative.
“It not only allows Brownies to attain certain activity badges and provides a social space where they can learn and have fun but it also helps young people to realise that heritage and culture is integral to their understanding of who they are.”
Kirsty Edwards of Acrefair Brownie group said: “They thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we are all looking forward to coming back again soon.”
