A WOMAN was indecently assaulted yesterday walking her dog in Ellesmere Port.

The 53-year-old was on the bridleway between the A41 at Great Sutton and Yeoman Way and Sycamore Drive.

At around 11.20am, a man approached the woman from the front and indecently assaulted her. During the struggle she managed to bite one of his hands but she was knocked to the ground and the man walked off.

He is white, about 30, about 5ft 6 or 7ins, of slight build with neat, ash blond hair.

He has blue eyes, is clean-shaven and wore a light silver grey hooded sweater and shorts.

His victim was extremely distressed and suffered injuries to her back.
