DAVENHAM Bowls Club have opened the doors to their new £10,000 extension.
The new facility, off Laburnum Road, was built by members thanks to funding from the Awards for All lottery grant.
The club, which boasts a membership of more than 100, has 12 teams competing in the Mid Cheshire, Norley Afternoon/Evening and Ladies leagues.
Vice chairman Andrew Rowe said: “The extension will provide the club with much more space and area that we can use for social occasions. It will also benefit the local community.”
The five-figure extension is the second large scale development after the club secured funding for floodlights.
