BORDERS at Cheshire Oaks has hosted the launch of an anthology of poetry and prose by a group of writers who meet regularly at the bookstore.
Borderliners will be donating the proceeds from their book, Born in Borders, to Claire House Children’s Hospice.
On the launch evening six of the eight contributors, Anne Abbinnett, Helen Barrett, Mike Freeman, Christine Milliken, Brian Roberts and Peter Scarisbrick, read extracts from the anthology and signed copies.
The other writers in the group are Annette Hayes and Sandra Johnson.
Borderliners wished to thank Borders staff and management for their support in helping to raise funds for the hospice.
