STAFF at Bonmarche in Winsford Cross Shopping Centre went green to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Employees dressed head to toe in green get-up on Friday to support the charity, which exists to help improve the lives of people living with cancer and their families and carers.

They held a raffle and sold homemade cakes and biscuits, raising more than £160 in the process.

“All the staff would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to all the customers and everybody who supported us in this event,” said store worker Paula Such. “It was a really fun day.”
