TWO men posing as water board officials stole from an 82-year- old woman after tricking their way into her Barnton home.
The pair struck shortly after 12noon on Tuesday, November 11 at the house on Beech Lane. After conning their way into the house they stole her purse and pension money.
Det Con Leanne Brundrett, said: “We are appealing for witnesses in the area who saw anyone behaving suspiciously around noon on Tuesday to contact us on 0845 4580000.”
