FOSTER carers and foster children in Wrexham enjoyed a fun-day and a barbecue at Gresford Memorial Hall.
The event was organised by the Family Placement Team and Wrexham Social Services as a show of thanks for the hard work Wrexham's foster carers do.
Emma Lally, a foster carer support worker, said: 'It's great to be able to provide our foster carers with a day of fun, activities for the children, a good atmosphere and good food. The work they do is highly valued by all in the team at Social Services.'
Wrexham foster carer Ellie Chesterman added: 'Myself and the kids had a wonderful day out. Fostering is my life, and it's something I would recommend to anyone.
'It's great being able to make a positive difference to children in the local community.'
