CELEBRATED botanist David Bellamy, pictured, has been taking in the delights of Arley Hall and Gardens.
The TV environmentalist was treated to a personal guided tour of the gardens, near Northwich, which are reckoned to be some of the finest in Europe, before taking in the stately home.
Arley Hall and Gardens business manager Shelagh Bebington said: “With so many acres of gardens and parkland, and such a diverse selection of wildlife on the estate, it was an honour to have David Bellamy here to see all the hard work that goes into maintaining it.”
