Base Motopark and members of the community got together to clean up part of Newport Business Park in Ellesmere Port last month.
They spent some of the day picking litter and tidying the grassed areas around the units while meeting up with other motocross enthusiasts and potential Base members.
Lyndsey Paul, CEO of BASE, said: “This event really shows BASE’s commitment to improving our local area and we hope our project will continue to make a positive impact on Ellesmere Port’s volunteering sector.”
Members of the local policing team gave a helping hand, as did council officers and local community members.
Sean Bartley’s refreshment van offered a welcome break for volunteers.
It is hoped that there will be further opportunities for BASE to get involved in other community projects in the future.
