WIRRAL band Insanity Beach will be performing at the Cheltenham Festival.

The five-piece, which includes Ellesmere Port drummer Chris Hooker, are playing ahead of the Gold Cup meeting tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday.

Then on Saturday the band have a gig at the Sportsman’s Arms in Whitby before playing a show at the Olde Red Lion in Little Sutton on Saturday, March 29.

They have also been pencilled in to perform before the Grand National at Aintree in April for the second year running.

At the same event last year the band impressed promoters so much they were chosen to support Status Quo at the Six Ways Stadium in Worcester.
