WELSH rockers Super Furry Animals have expressed their disappointment that fans have had to pay excessive postage and packing fees to attend their May 25 concert at NEWI.
Fans have had to pay more than £4 for postage and packing for their tickets.
But after discussions between the show's promoters, Metropolis Music, and representatives of the band, the remaining tickets were sold at Phase One Records in Wrexham.
In a one-off gesture they have also requested that company See Tickets do not send out tickets by special delivery, reducing postage and packing costs to £1.75. Usual booking fees still applied.
Metropolis have expressed regret at the ticketing error and failure to sell tickets at a local point of sale in Wrexham, and will be addressing this in relation to local Wrexham fans who have already bought tickets.
Super Furry Animals added they are looking forward to their first appearance in Wrexham.
