WREXHAM youngsters are being invited to learn to cook up a treat during the summer holiday.

Caffi Florence at Loggerheads Country Park is running a week-long cookery school for young people aged between seven and 14 from July 27-31.

Workshops on offer include making bread, cakes and pizza.

Caffi boss Jane Clough said: “Everyone loves a homemade cake but how many of us actually make them ourselves.

“At Caffi Florence we are passionate about real food, made from scratch using quality ingredients. We know how easy it can be to make delicious food and want to share this with everyone.

“We know that eating and cooking habits start young so we are running this week-long cookery school for children to make some of the most fun food.”

The workshops will take place each morning during the week from 9.30-10.30am and each day will make shortbread biscuits, bread hedgehogs, pizza, Welsh cakes and cup cakes.

The workshops cost £7.50 each or sign up for all five for £30. This includes tuition, ingredients and something delicious to take home.

Booking is essential through Caffi Florence on 01352 810397.
