ASDA in Ellesmere Port could soon be selling wheelchairs and walking sticks to cater for the elderly.
The supermarket giant became the first mainstream retail chain to focus on this sector when it introduced 15 of the Mobilease-branded lines in 75 of its stores on Saturday.
Although they are not on sale in Ellesmere Port yet, if the products prove popular they will be on the shelves in the near future.
The Mobilease brand features a selection of the most useful products, including a collapsible wheeled chair, a foldable walking stick, easy-to-use tap turner, jar lid twister, as well as the more personal bathroom assistance aids, like a raised toilet seat and a urine bottle.
