A LITTLE Sutton woman has been left terrified after arsonists poured accelerant through her letterbox and then threw in a match.

Caroline Greenland, of Chester Road, was asleep in her living room in the early hours of October 4 when she heard an unfamiliar sound.

She said: “I only realised what it was when I saw the smoke. It was just so thick and I couldn’t breathe.”

Terrified, Caroline clambered to open a window before collapsing.

Luckily for her, the dog next door had alerted her neighbours and they managed to pull her out of her house.

Caroline’s front door was completely destroyed, her living room severely smoke damaged and her whole house smells of smoke.
