NORTH East Wales will benefit from a massive capital investment programme, an AM has claimed.
Labour AM Karen Sinclair said her Clwyd South constituency will benefit from cash set aside for infrastructure projects by the Assembly.
It has been announced that £4.9 billion has been earmarked for
programmes such as hospitals, schools and transport systems by Finance Minister Sue Essex.
The money runs across all policy areas - from health and economic development to education and culture.
Ms Sinclair said: 'The money assigned for these projects runs in
line with the Government's priorities of encouraging economic stability, promoting social justice and raising standards in our public services.
'As a Government, we are investing record sums to improve schools and hospitals in North East Wales and plan to invest even more in future.
'We are also committed to spending
this money efficiently and cost-efficiently so we get the best value for people in North Wales.'
