NIGHTINGALE House Hospice’s ABBA tribute night was a huge success.
The event, held at Wrexham Memorial Hall, raised £840 for the adult hospice.
Wirral-based tribute band ABBA Now, along with DJ John Jones from Quality Acoustic Sound Systems, had the crowd of 200, singing and dancing to classic ABBA hits and sounds of the 70s.
Some people even dressed up in 70s fancy dress.
Louise Aubrey, event organiser at the hospice, said: “The dance floor was full all night and there was a real buzz about the place. It was a fabulous event.
“We hope to now make it an annual event in our fundraising calendar as we have already had requests for tickets for next year!”
“I’d like to thank all of the staff at the memorial hall, ABBA Now, John Jones, our volunteers and everybody who attended and who helped make the evening the success that it was.”
