STUDENTS at The Hammond School have achieved 100% passes at A level. In all, 30 entries were made.

A spokesman said: "The Hammond is particularly delighted at our students’ success because they work in a very busy, tiring environment where time is at a premium.

"Many students are working towards the national diploma (level 6) in dance or musical theatre and the remainder are studying, alongside their A levels, BTEC level 3 in performing arts.

"Results in this latter course have also this year been excellent, with the majority of students gaining awards at distinction or merit level.

"We wish those students who are leaving The Hammond this summer all the best in their future careers."
