A TEENAGER is fighting for his life after being attacked three times in the same night.

The 17-year-old was punched and kicked by a man as he chatted with friends, then allegedly set on by the same man twice again. He was left unconcious by the third attack, and rushed to hospital.

The first attack happened near a telephone kiosk in Ellesmere Port during the early hours of Saturday morning.

Police believe a man punched and kicked him to the ground after using the kiosk at the junction of Deansgate and Regent Street at around 1am.

A short time later, he was attacked again by the same man who ran off along Regent Street and Bishops Gardens.

The third attack happened as the teenager walked between the junction of Deansgate, Princes Road and the footpath of Bishops Gardens, Princes Road.

He was taken to Walton neurological centre in Liverpool, where his condition is critical but stable.

Witnesses should call 01244 613145 or 0800 555 111.
