Cheerleaders from Deva Cheerleading Academy (DCA) in Chester have won a national competition at the Olympic Park in London.

The competition, held at the Copperbox Arena, was hosted by company Legacy Cheer and Dance, whose mission is to build incredible experiences and memories for young athletes, a philosophy in line with the aims of Deva Cheerleading Academy.

DCA’s junior stunt group won their division at Legacy’s regional competition in March, and received a bid to compete at the nationals against winners of regional competitions from across the country.

Months of hard work and preparation paid off and the team were thoroughly delighted when they placed first against some very stiff competition.
