A TEENAGER was robbed and dumped in the woods.

The 18-year-old left a party on Cook Street, off Meadow Lane, at 10.45pm on Friday, February 18.

He remembers nothing until the next day, when he woke up in nearby Jacks Wood at 7.45am.

The teenager was missing jewellery including two gold rings, a watch and a bracelet totalling £500. He had cuts to his head and hand.

Burglars drove the wrong way up the motorway after a pub break-in.

Three men forced their way into the Burleydam pub on Chester Road, Childer Thornton.

They dragged the cigarette machine into their car, possibly a Vauxhall Calibra, and drove off at 5.40am on Wednesday.

A similar H-reg Calibra was later seen on Overpool Road. The car was last seen driving the wrong way up a sliproad on to the M53.

Stanney High School has been burgled twice in as many days.

On Wednesday, raiders smashed a ground-floor window and took £50, two-way radios and other goods.

And on Monday, February 21, three windows were smashed and a Dell laptop and printer worth £1,160 were stolen.

Raiders forced the window of the BP garage on Chester High Road, Neston, on Tuesday, February 22, and stole sweets.
