PROUD parents are being invited to enter their bouncing babies into this year's The Chronicle Baby of the Year competition 2003.

The popular competition promises to be another big hit again as mums and dads flock to enter their sons and daughters for the top tot of the year honour.

The Chronicle is already receiving entries and are inviting more and more entries for the competition that is offering some great prizes this year.

There are three categories for this year's Baby of the Year: 0-1 year, 13 months - 2 years and the final category 25 months - 3 years.

There is one winner and two runners up for each category. All entrants must be under three years of age.

Photographs must accompany your entry forms, which can be found each week in The Chronicle.

Entries must be received no later than September 20, 2003.

Nominees for the Baby of the Year should contact photographer Dave Williams at Bubbles on 01244 344164. We will start to publish photographs of babies entered for the competition in August.

The winner of Baby of the Year 2003 will be announced by The Chronicle on October 18.
