The sight and sound of the famous Red Arrows flying over Chester yesterday was certainly a talking point amongst you.

And there were some amazing images captured as the Arrows used Hawarden Airport in Flintshire as their base, ahead of an eagerly-anticipated display at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

Check out some of the great snaps you sent to us via social media as they swooped over Chester on their way to and from Blackpool, in our gallery.

Look out for the Red Arrows when they are back in North Wales on August 28 for the Rhyl Air Show.
