CHILDREN from across Ellesmere Port showcased their handmade lanterns at Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet in a special Christmas parade.
More than 100 people took part in the parade, which made its way through the malls and ended with a carol service.
Samba band Makka Sutu led the parade and further entertainment was provided by a local brass band.
Members of ABC Community Theatre Group wore costumes made by West Cheshire College and performed theatrical scenes.
Chris Burke, general manager of the designer outlet, said: 'The lantern parade was a fun way to celebrate the festive period. The music by Makka Sutu and the brass band was fantastic and the children's lanterns created a beautiful trail around the outlet.'
The event was organised in partnership with the borough council and Changing Gear and was sponsored by Cheshire Oaks and Andrea Mattia Concessions.
Lantern workshops had been held at six schools and Ellesmere Port Civic Hall.
