YOUNG Chester singers could find themselves at No 1 in the Christmas charts this year.

Stagecoach students Jessica Scarfo, Millie Quinn, Isobel Deevy, Brogan Craine, Andrew Urquhart and Jacob Miller all feature on the new album Bob the Builder - Never Mind the Breeze Blocks.

The album is released on December 1 on the UMTV Kids label with a single from the album Bob’s Big Fish being released on November 24.

George Partington, of Chester’s Stagecoach, said: “Stagecoach offers its students all sorts of opportunities in the professional world of TV, film and theatre.”

Bob the Builder’s place in pop history was secured in 2001 with UK number one hit Can We Fix It? selling over one million copies. He did it again a year later with the chart topping Mambo No. 5.
