A specialist equipment and crane hire company teamed up with festival-goers at CarFest North in Cheshire on the weekend to capture what is believed to be the world’s biggest selfie.
Hewden mounted a remote controlled GoPro camera to the tip of its 70-tonne, 68m high Tadano crane, capturing hundreds of people in the process.
Sales director at Hewden Events Jeff Schofield said: “It was a great initiative for a great cause.
“CarFest is a fantastic family event, which helps raise money for Children In Need.
“This was a great way for us to get involved and use our equipment in a fun and engaging way. The picture was amazing. I’m just glad nobody blinked.”
