PUPILS and staff of Saltney’s Wood Memorial Primary School all got into the World Book Day spirit.
Headteacher Ceri Williams said: “Children dressed up as their favourite book characters and brought their book with them so everyone knew who they had come as.
“We had a big service in the morning assembly about books and we had a competition for the best dressed children from each class.
“There were also book-related activities during the day and all the children received a £1 book voucher.
“All the staff got involved as well, dressing up as book characters.”
