A WOMAN was taken to hospital with spinal injuries after falling on a hill in Bickerton.
At just before 6.30pm on Monday (May 7) emergency services were called to Goldford Lane on Bickerton Hill, after reports that a woman had fallen and was seriously injured.
Firefighters were called to help paramedics after the 29-year-old woman fell three quarters of a mile up the hill badly hurting her back.
Crews from Malpas fire station carried the casualty down the hill using a stretcher before handing her over the paramedics to be treated.
The woman was taken to Leighton Hospital to be treated for suspected back and spinal injuries. The casualty had suspected back/spinal injuries.
