Police are appealing for a good Samaritan who helped a woman after she was assaulted in Leftwich to come forward.
The woman was attacked by a man on foot when she stopped her car at Clifton Drive’s junction with Fairfield Road at 11.30pm on September 25.
A 25-year-old man from Northwich has been charged with offences including ABH.
DC Vicki Shelton said: “A man in his 30s came to the victim’s aid.
“I’d appeal to this person to contact me so that we can progress with our case.”
