Wildlife stands up to be counted in survey day in Audlum

A WILDLIFE Recordathon will get a group of volunteers closer to nature next month.

Count Me In!, the project set up to create the wildlife recorders of the future, is inviting anyone and everyone to a Wildlife Recordathon event on Sunday, September 5 from 10am until 4pm.

The event will take place at the new Overwater Marina at Audlem, near Nantwich and will include guided walks, small mammal and moth traps, canal boat trips, various exhibits and activities, and the chance to learn species ID and new survey techniques such as pond dipping and using butterfly nets. A free mini bus leaves Chester Zoo at 9am, returning at 4pm. Booking for the bus is essential.
