TWO experts in their fields have joined forces to create a hotel and spa experience which focuses on specialist treatment, care and facilities.

When experienced hotel manager, Andrew Marsh, joined the historic country house hotel The Wild Boar at Beeston, he knew that after investing in a state-of-the-art beauty salon at the hotel he needed a specialist beauty therapist.

“Nearly all hotels now have spas or beauty salons and the hotel employs therapists to work in them, but this is such a specialist area and for it to work well I knew that the best way to ensure excellent treatments for our guests was to go into partnership with the local expert ,” said Andrew.

The beauty salon is now run by business owner, Angela Bartlett, who has been working in the beauty industry since 1984 and has been recommended by Steve Miller, TV presenter for Sky 1’s Fat Families. Angela offers an experience of various treatments and uses the Dermalogica skin care range.

She has more than 25 years’ experience in beauty and holistic therapy, teaching, training, salon consultancy and writing articles for beauty trade journals, as well as examining for an international examination board.

Angela said she was delighted to be at the hotel and added: “We are working hard, and having great fun, in finding new and innovative ways to delight both hotel guests and salon clients alike.”

“When I come into work with my staff I consider myself very lucky to be working in such a beautiful building.”
