On your marks for the seventh Chester Marathon, which will take place on Sunday, October 2 2016.
Early bird registrations are now open for both the MBNA Chester Marathon and MBNA Chester Metric Marathon and you have until November 30, 2015 to take advantage of this offer.
More than 5,000 runners took part in the 2015 event and it is expected that charities will have benefited to the tune of almost £700,000.

The 2016 Chester Half Marathon is also open for entries. Taking place on Sunday, May 15, places can be booked from £30 here .
