The West Cheshire Foodbank had a welcome £200 plus boost to its stocks thanks to the Plus Dane trades team at Ellesmere Port and Neston.
The team set about collecting money to donate food in time for those in need at Christmas.
They collected more than £200, went along to do a ‘shop’ and delivered the food to Trinity Church in the town centre earning a ‘well done’ on the Pride in the Port web site.
The team also sent 60 advent calendars and selection boxes for the food bank collection in Liverpool.
