ASPIRING models, make-up artists, singers, dancers and young people interested in all aspects of retail are invited to a special Carnevil night to see what’s happening in the world of creative arts.
The showcase event takes place at Destiny and Elite nightclub in Ellesmere Port on Tuesday March 2 so young people can experience first hand the types of subjects they could study at West Cheshire College – and discover the variety of careers awaiting them.
The event, which runs from 6pm until 10pm, is designed to provide a platform for creative arts students’ skills learned while they study at the College.
The Carnevil theme is based on a Rio Carnival with a ‘Goth’ feel and the best dressed visitor will win a make-over and modelling shoot for two.
College Assistant Manager for the Arts Sharon Brown said: "It’s an energetic and unmissable event designed to help young people find out more about careers in the creative arts.
"Parents and guardians are welcome too so they can find out more about the subjects available and the skills the College develops.
"Students will be showing off their own fashion designs as well as hair, make-up and beauty skills.
"Students from modelling and promotions will be taking to the catwalk to display the latest fashion from top brands during an exclusive fashion show.
"We’ll also have an interactive gaming area showing the very best of games technology."
Entry is free and admission is on a first come, first served basis.
